About our Company

The company  was established in 1977 by the Fred Fichthorn family. It has been located at the same location at 4203A Pottsville Pike in Reading since that time.

It originally was not only a indepenently owned retail showroom, but also a display center for the Quaker Maid factory.  It's showroom display facility is the largest and most comprehensive exhibit of custom cabinetry in the area today.

The company designs creative layouts of kitchens, baths, and other room cabinetry for consumers, institutions, builders, and remodeling contractors.

Over the intervening years, additional manufacturers have been added to our product lines and today we can supply cabinets from a variety of manufacturors such as industry leader Quaker Maid and Quality Custom Cabinetry.  Manufactured in New Holland, the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country, both are widely advertised in magazines such as the Architectural Digest. We also work with the Lewistown line made in Lewistown, Pa featuring a wide variety of door styles and a beautiful finish; and the Schrock cabinet line which is made ahead of time an warehoused.

When the design is approved and purchased, we supply all, or part of the necessary matierials and labor to complete the job based on the customer's requirements.
